Computer and imaging equipment has become almost as important as the camera itself. For me, the computer is simply another set of wonderful brushes with which to paint the canvas. But, the palette with the broadest range of color will always be the subjects in front of the camera. They possess a limitless spectrum from which to draw inspiration.

Adobe Photoshop – Photoshop does all the heavy lifting when it comes to image processing.
Carbon Copy Cloner – A backup solution that’s easy to setup and use consistently. A critical piece of software.
i1Profiler – Very accurate monitor profiling software.
ImagePrint – An expensive, but remarkable printing interface. Truly amazing and consistent results.
Nik Color Efex Pro – Great image effects.
Nik – HDR Efex Pro – Powerful HDR blending software.
Nik – Viveza – Indispensable enhancement software.
onOne Perfect Photo Suite – A powerful collection of filters, frames and tilt-shift lens effects.
Phase One Capture One Pro – I use Capture One for the conversion of RAW images, tethered shooting, and and to manage my image archive.
Photomatix Pro A very powerful solution for HDR photography.
Photo Mechanic – I’ve found Photo Mechanic to be the most efficient editing software for viewing and selecting images quickly.
PTGui – Precision panorama and QTVR stitching software.
Publicspace A Better Finder Rename – This is indispensable when you need to rename files that have number sequencing that must remain intact. With this inexpensive software you can rename files in countless ways while maintaining any part of the filename you need to leave unchanged.
